
Nicolas Bourdoncle, piano
Born in Aix-en-Provence in 1998, Nicolas Bourdoncle began studying piano at a very early age at the Conservatoire d'Aix-en-Provence with Michel Bourdoncle. He continued his studies in the class of Roger Muraro and Isabelle Dubuis at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, from which he graduated with the highest distinction in 2015, with Bernard d'Ascoli in the "Piano Cantabile" association as well as with Nelson Goerner at the Haute École de Musique de Genève.
Currently a DAI student at the CNSM in Paris, he is also studying with Stanislav Ioudenitch at the Reina Sofia School of Music in Madrid. In parallel to his solo activity, Nicolas is a member of the Montecristo Trio, which studies in the concert cycle of the CRR of Paris with the Wanderer Trio.
Nicolas made his debut as a soloist at the Odessa Philharmonic at the age of ten. Since then, he has performed in more than twenty countries in recitals, chamber music and concerts with orchestras such as the Granada City Orchestra, the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra, the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Radio Orchestra of Bucharest, the National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of Ukraine, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia, the Monterrey Symphony Orchestra...
He is a laureate of the Hanoi International Piano Competition in 2012 and of the International Piano Competition "Premio Jaén" in 2019.
