In June 2022, he released Olivier Messiaen's Vingt Regards sur l'Enfant-Jésus, performing the complete cycle at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées that same month.
Bertrand Chamayou was born in Toulouse, and his musical talent was quickly spotted by the pianist Jean-François Heisser, who later became his teacher at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. He went on to perfect his skills with Maria Curcio in London. He is the only French artist to have won the Victoires de la Musique five times, in every category.
