
Céleste Klingelschmitt, Violin
Currently studying for a Performing Artist Diploma at the Paris Conservatoire, Céleste obtained her master's degree in violin with honours in 2024 in the class of Stéphanie-Marie Degand.
From the age of 11, she performed as a soloist with the Collegium Musicum de Mulhouse and then with the Philharmonisches Orchester Riehen in Dvorak's concerto and in Mozart's Symphonie Concertante with Héloïse Houzé in April 2022. More recently, she performed Mozart's 5th concerto with the Colonne orchestra conducted by Christophe Coin and the Brahms concerto with the Simón Bolivar symphony orchestra in Caracas.
A passionate chamber musician, she founded the Mylos trio, benefited in particular from the advice of Claire Désert and François Salque and in May 2024, took part in the programme Générations France Musique. Céleste also performs alongside Sergey Ostrovsky and Noémie Bialobroda of the Aviv Quartet and with Philippe Bernold in Mozart's quartets with flute. She has been selected twice for the Seiji Ozawa International Academy.
In 2021, she is concertmaster of the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra under the direction of James Gaffigan and an academician of the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra for the 2022-2023 season

Céleste has also devoted herself to playing on historical instruments for several years. She has played under the direction of Ton Koopman, John Butt and Christophe Coin and as a soloist in Bach's double concerto with Stéphanie-Marie Degand and La Diane Française. She will begin a master's degree in baroque violin in September 2024 in the class of François Fernandez.
She is a laureate of the Fondation l'Or du Rhin and the Académie Villecroze.
