Broadway Family Show
For several years now, Natalie Dessay has been exploring new ways of bringing music to life, undertaking numerous projects that combine theatre, song, jazz and classical repertoire. This time, she returns with a ‘family’ programme, accompanied by her husband and children, to celebrate the irresistible world of Broadway musicals. In this colourful programme, she revisits the great works of Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, Michel Legrand, Stephen Sondheim, not to mention the indispensable George Gershwin, pioneer of the dialogue between jazz and classical music. All this alongside their collaborators Benoît Dunoyer de Segonzac, Nicolas Montazaud and Yvan Cassar. An evening of shared joy to bring this new edition of the Colmar International Festival to a festive close.
