And Bamberg celebrates Brahms
The young prodigy Lukas Sternath – First Prize winner of the 2022 ARD Competition and ECHO Rising Star – returns to the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra and the passionate baton of Jakob Hrůša for an all-Brahms tribute. A masterful fresco in which virtuosity becomes intimacy, the Second Concerto opens the evening with its almost symphonic grandeur. The Third Symphony, luminous and majestic, crowns the programme. A pinnacle of humanity and lyricism.
‘The Bamberger Symphoniker concert is part of a tour organised by Konzertdirektion Schmid.’
