Nadja Dornik, Piano

Nadja Dornik is a pianist and harpist who holds two Masters degrees from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in both harp and piano. She completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Isabelle Moretti's harp class and her Bachelor's degree in piano in Hortense Cartier-Bresson's class and her Master's degree in Frank Braley's class.

From this autumn, she will be continuing her studies in the 3rd cycle of the Diplôme d'Artiste Interprète (DAI) at the CNSMDP as a pianist in Frank Braley's class, as well as a Master's degree in chamber music with her trio (piano, violin, cello) at the same Conservatoire in the class of Claire Désert and Michaël Hentz. This year she also received a scholarship from the École Normale de Musique de Paris, enabling her to continue her studies in Gaspard Dehaene's piano class, and she was admitted to Shani Diluka's piano excellence class, supported by the Monegasque government, at the Prince Rainier III Academy of Music.

A prizewinner in over thirty international competitions, Nadja performed at a very young age with the greatest orchestras: the Geneva Chamber Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the Ministry of Defence "Stanislav Binički", "Pro Classica" (Serbia), and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Serbian Radio-Television.

These competitions have taken him to the four corners of the world. From New York to Moscow, London and Geneva, from Carnegie Hall to the World Harp Congress in Hong Kong, she collaborates with renowned artists such as flutist Sébastien Jacot, conductor Patrick Gallois and composer Daniele Garella, with whom she recorded her first album at the age of 15. Last summer she also had the opportunity to collaborate with Gautier Capuçon. A cellist with whom she shared the stage on the 'Un Été en France' tour.

For the 2022/2023 academic year, she is a laureate of the Safran Foundation and the Meyer Foundation for Music, as well as an ambassador for the Saline Royale Academy. That year she was also one of the pianists selected for a masterclass session with renowned pianist and teacher Olivier Cazal, and also for the Académie Musicale de Villecroze, where she had the opportunity to enrich her playing by working with renowned pianist and teacher Avedis Kouyoumdjian. For 2023/2024, she is also a laureate of the Fondation d'Or du Rhin.

She is regularly invited to play at a number of music festivals. This summer, she had the honour of taking part in the prestigious Chopin Festival in Paris. At this event, she impressed the audience with a piano recital dedicated entirely to Chopin. Nadja also performed at the "Les Arènes Lyriques" festival in Paris, where she gave no fewer than 10 concerts. She delighted the audience with her talent and virtuosity, particularly in her performance of Rachmaninov's Concerto No. 3, considered a masterpiece for the piano. Her performance was widely acclaimed by the critics, and received a positive mention in 'Le Monde' magazine. Nadja is an exceptional artist whose passion and talent continue to leave their mark.
