Baroque bowing and blowing: The B'Rock Orchestra & Lucie Horsch
The baroque flute in all its glory – in all its splendour!
The B'Rock Orchestra is deeply attached to the baroque period, which it champions with talent, verve and infectious joy.
Accompanied by the sparkling recorder player Lucie Horsch – one of the most iconic and talented ambassadors of this instrument in the world – the B'Rock Orchestra, conducted by Cecilia Bernardini, brings together the splendour of Handel, the virtuosity of Vivaldi, the elegance of Telemann and the vitality of Corelli in a programme bursting with energy.
From the famous Water Music suites to the most luminous concertos of the 18th century, this is an evening where the brilliance of the orchestra, the virtuosity and the poetry of the flute respond to each other with brio.
